Memories of Luella

Okay, I've been reading a bunch of blogs today, and a lot of them have asked for memories from people who read their blogs. I'm jumping on the bandwagon and asking for visitors to post memories they have of me. This should be fun!

I remember having a sleepover at your house when I was little and you dressed me up in your Raggedy Ann doll clothes.

I remember another sleepover at your apartment while I was spending the summer of 1989 at Grandma and Grandpa's.

And the cream of the crop was going to see Beauty and the Beast on Broadway with you and Tony and going to the stage door afterwards to meet "Belle" because she went to Ithaca College the same years Tony did.

And, Tony, how could I forget Lips at the All-Star Cafe?

I remember playing horse at your house. You were always a better horse than Noelle. She always tried to buck us off. You were what I thought a horse should be. I also remember that fateful night when you were watching us and Milaka cut the pad of her thumb off. Then how about the time we called the fire department because Milaka saw "smoke" around the lightbulb that turned out to be steam from the humidifier? Weren't you watching us that night too?

I also loved visiting you and your family with Jason back in 2000. You're right. I need to go back! I miss you!

My memory of you was the summer we spent working together stuffing envelopes in the admissions office of Wells College. Then there was the summer we spent working together pollinating corn at the Research Farm. Oh yeah, then there was the year we spent working together cleaning the mold off Gouda cheese. Good times!

I remember you coming to Logan to visit us. We went to the park to go ice skating and had so much fun! You told us all about this cute boy that you were madly in love with. You called him and let us talk to him. & now he's my bro-in-law! This really is a sweet memory I have of you Luella!
