we stopped in to the Manhattan Temple to visit some of the cleanest restrooms in the city.
Before the concert began, there was Kidzone Live set up in all levels of the lobbies outside of the concert hall. If you're not sure what I mean, check it out for yourself at http://www.nyphilkids.org/ . It's really neat!
There was a farmer's market in Lincoln Square Park, where we had lunch - soft pretzels, hot apple cider, and lemonade(and water).
Then we went to Lincoln Center to Avery Fisher Hall, where the concert was going to be held. Before the concert began, there was Kidzone Live set up in all levels of the lobbies outside of the concert hall. The boys tried out different instruments,
and participated in a quiz show.
They won some neat prizes, too!

Wow! Nicholas and Michael took the quiz show hands down.
By the way, here in Louisville we have one of the top 100 orchestras in the world. Maybe top 200.
Yes, they toasted the other boy - he didn't stand a chance. He still got a prize for being up there, though.
I have heard that Louisville has a good orchestra! and a great Sweet Adelines group too!
What is the point of living in a major metropolitan area if you don't take advantage of some of the offerings? Sounds like you had a fantastic day!
Great website! I may use it in my music appreciation course next semester. BTW did you know that the NY Phil is tied for third as one of the oldest orchestras in the world?
Great job on the quiz show Nicholas and Michael! I'm impressed!
